I am fortunate beyond measure to have Mrs. Kelly Morris, The Center's Literacy & Learning Specialist, K-12, as my Regional Literacy Specialist. As a result of her expertise and phenomenal support, I can honestly say that I have transformed into a stronger and better coach. Her guidance has empowered me to change the mindset of teachers, and as a result test scores have increased tremendously in our parish. Our entire focus has changed and we are taking a deep dive into data, analyzing the results, and using it to drive our instruction.

Family Engagement is a key aspect of the culture and success at our school! The benefits we have found with partnering with Louisiana Reads! are the ability to educate and provide literacy resources to our parents in the efforts to help bridge literacy gaps.
